A mixture of 5 projects.

This first card I made for a young lady who works in our building society. She just happened to mention that she is getting married on the 22nd of this month. I have used Stardream card from Joanna Sheen. The main card is an oyster colour and the topper card is pale pink. Sorry I can not remember the proper colour name. The image and backing paper are from "Victorian Romance CD-ROM from Joanna Sheen. I made an envelope box in the brighter pink pearlescent card to match.

These two cards have been made using the same CD-ROM "The Cardmaker's Year" from Joanna Sheen. I have used the same topper on both but have changed the colour and motif of the backing paper and main card. I have also used gold mirri on one and silver on the other. I think you will agree with me that it does make the card look very different.

This is the first time I have used this Pansy stamp but have had it in my stash for a long time. I don't know the maker it just says K-774 Santa Rosa CA. Stamped in VersaMark Watermark and embossed in Stamp-n-Stuff Detail Silver opaque.

This Mini Scrapbook was made at my once a month Craft Club in Messing run by Lynne. I don't think she will mind me giving you the instructions I don't know where she got them from.

For the back cover cut one 6 x 5.5 inch piece of thick card or chipboard, and one 8 x 7.5 inch piece of patterned paper. Cover the board with the paper, mitering the corners.

For the front cover cut two 3 x 5.5 inch pieces of thick card or chipboard, and two 5 x 7.5 inch pieces of patterned paper, and cover the board as before.

For the accordian binding, cut two 4 x 5.5 inch pieces of cardstock. Score and fold at 1/2inch increments and glue to the back cover. Be careful to line up the first fold with the edge of the cover.

Glue the remaining end of the accordian onto front covers.

Glue the outside accordion folds together to create a sturdy bookbinding.

You can increase the number of pages in your album by increasing the length of cardstock and adding more folds.

Cover the inside of both the front and back covers with patterned paper cut slightly smaller than the covers, making sure you cover the accordion edge.

For the pages, cut six pieces of cardstock 4.5 x 2.5 inches. Round two of the corners and stick the square edge to the accordion edge, spacing them out equally.

Next part is down to you, you have the basic mini album and it's time for you to decorate and embellish it as you choose.

4 Paper Nation Cards

These four cards have been produced very simply by using a decoupage kit from Paper Nation. I have had this kit in my craft box for ages unopened. It would still be unopened but I promised Tony I would start using some things that I bought years ago that I have never touched or opened. Hence these cards, this is only a quarter of the kit so another time I will have to make more. You never know I might find a customer. I certainly haven't got anyone that I could send these to.

2 Art Deco/2 Baby Love/1 Hamish/1 Liverpool Cards

This birthday card is made with a Liverpool supporter in mind. I hope I find a customer to buy it. Lol!!!! The football kit is made out of mulberry paper, I have had it in my stash for so long I can't remember where I bought it. The background card is gold glitter card.

This is my first Christmas card to be made this year, no doubt the first of many. I have used a Sugar Nellie stamp called "Hamish with Sleigh" I have watercoloured it with a mixture of Cosmic Shimmers and H20's. I have used Aqua Twinkles from the Cosmic Twinkles range to indicate the snow in places. The backing paper has been printed off of the Cute Companions Christmas Collection CD-ROM.

The two cards above have been made using the "Baby Love" CD-ROM from Joanna Sheen. I have a few baby cards to make before November as a girl at the beauty saloon where I sell my cards is expecting her first baby in the middle of November so I am hoping there will be lots of customers to buy my cards with her clients and the other girls she works with in the saloon. The only problem is I will have to make quite a few and will be left with at least half of them as we will not know what she is having. I will not have time to make them quick and act upon the opportunity.

The above two cards have been made using the "Art Deco" CD -ROM from Card Creations Plus. The first one is a Tri-Fold card so it is very difficult for my poor photographer to photograph it to show it at its best.

3 Cute Mouse Cards / 2 Others

This very cute stamp is a Penny Black one from the Margaret Sherry collection. It is called "Here's Looking at You! 1671K. I have used watercolour pencils from W.H.Smiths to colour the image. The backing paper is from my stash, sorry I don't know where I got it from.

This Vintage Car stamp is from Creative Stamping LL 219 F. Again I have used W.H.Smiths watercolour pencils to colour with. Backing paper once again from my stash.

Another cutie stamp from Penny Black also from the Margaret Sherry collection. This one is called "Say Cheesecake" 1644L. Again watercoloured with W.H.Smiths watercolour pencils. Paper from stash.

This card was started at my once a month Tuesday craft club. I used Lynne's template/card/papers, the only thing that was mine was the peels offs to finish it off down the side.

Once again a cutie from Penny Black's Margaret Sherry collection. This one is called "Cheesecake Dreams" 1661F. Sorry to get boring but once again I used W.H.Smiths watercolour pencils and the paper was from my stash. I will have to stop making cutie cards from Penny Black and do something else but I enjoy making them and my customers seem to buy them.

5 Cutie Cards

This card below has been made by using the Crafters Companion CD-ROM Popcorn the Bear. This a triple CD -ROM collection and I have used the one called FLORALS. Gems and ribbon from my stash have been added.



I thought I had all the Hedgehog stamps from Penny Black but I was wrong. I stamped this image at one of my Craft Clubs when we had a bring along your stamps and share evening. So sorry I don't know the number or title of this one. I am even presuming it is in the Penny Black range.

This one again was stamped on the same evening. I really liked working with this one and must ask at the club whose it was that I borrowed and what it is called and who made it. So cute I could image my dear departed cat D 'Arcy doing this.

Three Jayne Nesterenko Workshop Cards.

As my friends will know I was lucky enough to attend another one of Jayne Nesterenko's great workshops on Sunday. These are the three cards we made during the day. It was a very fast moving workshop, hence mistakes were made by me. My darling husband who is my photographer had to be persauded to take these photos as he felt they are far from being my best work. Lol!!!!



The above card was made using the Summer Stories CD ROM by Cute Companions from Crafter's Companion. The Scene is the Friends Gate Scene A5. It has been decoupaged. The little girl mouse has been stamped using Friends Summer Stories Stamp set and both front and back views of her have been stamped. She has been watercoloured using H20's. The scene and little mouses knickers have been glittered. The gate opens.

The Ponsettia Medallion stamp has been used for this card above and the middle stamped and cut out for the trees. The matting stripe has also been stamped using more areas of the stamp. The trees have been watercoloured using H20's.

This bauble card was messy but great fun to make. The matting card is a green card misted with 3 Cosmic Shimmer Misters - Lava Red, not sure if it was Meadow Lust or Peacock Green, Golden Mint. The bauble peeloffs are mounted and cut out from white card misted with 2 Cosmic Shimmer Misters - Lava Red, Golden Mint. The corners of the matting card have been stamped with a flourish stamp.

If you have a chance to go on one of Jayne's workshops you must go it is a great experience.
