Thank You All

Thank you all for your thoughts and hugs. It was a great shock when the police came round in the middle of the night Thursday last week to tell me that my Mother of 80 had been rushed to hospital with a heart attack and had died and also that morning my Dad of 87 had been rushed into hospital as my parents carers had gone in to get them up and give them their medication and found that they couldn't wake him. My Dad is now off of the danger list and has been transfered to a short term care home today within the hospital grounds until they can sort out his future care. He will not be able to stay living on his own. I am going to visit him tomorrow. My Mum's funeral is Wednesday. I hope you can all bear with me and I will back blogging and entering challenges soon and catching up with visiting your blogs as well.

New Challenge Blog Starting/Design Call.

Afternoon folks. My posting this afternoon is to tell you about a new Challenge Blog starting on the 5th September 2010. It will be running once a month on the first Sunday of each month. Karen's Doodles Challenge#19

Morning folks. Hubby is having fun building a little pond in the garden. We already had a small water feature there but he now wants to make in to a proper pond. Bless!!! He expects me to keep going out to take photo's as it is progressing!!!!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday but I was at Hydro Therapy at the hospital yesterday and when I got home I was shattered. Morning peeps. A nice breeze here today but the sun is still out. It is meant to rain today but it always misses us.

I have actually made two cards for this challenge today, they both are very similar and I couldn't make up my mind which one to enter. I might enter the other one later in the week.

I have used a stamp today for a change and it is the first time of using it. It is a stamp from Debbi Moore Designs. It is a clear stamp plate - Sorry it hasn't any number or name on it or on the packaging and I can't remember what it was called. I have stamped it using Colour Box Petal Point - Brocade Pigment Pad Ruby Satin and Embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. The image has been Cut & Embossed with "Standard Circles Large" Nesties from Spellbinders. The Swirl has been Cut & Embossed using LR0120 die from Marianne Design Creatables. The Pearls and BP is from my stash.
