Liebster Love Blog Award

Morning folks. I noticed last night that my dear blogging pal VICKY left me this award on her gorgeous blog. I was too tired to action it last night I am afraid, I haven't got Vicky's stamina!!!!

Now there are a couple of conditions apparently you have been tagged & want to accept the award & participate then you have to create a post & post "Love Blog" image. You should then blog the persons link that gave you the award & inform her/him that you accept.

Vicky I am very honoured you chose me as your blog and work is mind blowing & I accept this award with pride & I am doing cartwheels.

I must say that the choice was made a bit easier in the fact that some of my choice have either already received this special award or they have displayed on their blog that the do not want to receive awards as nice as they are. The image & bp is from "Times Gone By" CDROM - paintings of Glynn Williams by Joanna Sheen. Both the image & bp have been mounted on to silver mirri. The silver sentiment peel off is from my stash. This card is perfect for my 91 year old neighbour who always tells me his stories of his childhood. The challenge has come at the right time as his birthday is in February.

Digi Doodles Shop's Best Challenge#44 - DT Card

Morning folks. It is Thursday again and that mean's it is time for another Challenge over at DIGI DOODLE SHOP'S BEST . This week we would like to see SWIRLS on your project.


DT Card
My digi image this week is "Wedding Cake". You can go to THE SHOP to find out how to buy and download it. The colouring medium is Promarkers and Sakura Glitter pens, which doesn't seem to be showing up in the photo. The image has been cut & mounted using S5-006 "Curved Rectangles" Mega Nesties from Spellbinders. I have stippled around the edges with "Spun Sugar" DI using Ink Dusters. I have mounted the image on to silver mirri card. The pink swirl bp is from my computer and has also been mounted on to silver mirri card. The pink swirl at the bottom has been cut using Marianne Design Creatables die LR0119 The flowers/silver sentiment peel off and ribbon are from my stash.

The digi stamp is "Emma Valentine" from of course Karen's Doodles. Colouring medium is Promarkers. Her hair bow is glittered with "Cotton Candy" Stickles. Heart is glittered with sprinkled glitter/ribbons & buttons all from my stash. The two large hearts have been cut using dies from Spellbinders. The bp and the paper which the heart is cut from are from "Romance" PopCorn the Bear CDROM by Crafter's Companion. The heart corner punch is from X Cut.

For this 8 x 8 square card I have used a stamp from Crafter's Companion, "Special Couple" Romance PopCorn the Bear. Both the image and sentiment are from this stamp plate. The colouring medium is Promarkers. The edges have been stippled with "Spun Sugar" DI using Ink Dusters. For the heart embossed back ground panel I have used a Cuttlebug Embossing folder. Again I have stippled it with "Spun Sugar" DI. Bp is from "Romance" PopCorn the Bear CDROM from Crafter's Companion. The bp/embossed panel/image & sentiment are all mounted on to Stardream card from Joanna Sheen website. The ribbon is from my stash.

Afternoon peeps. Hope you are all well. Sunny here today but very cold. Not that I have been out, I have the report from my OH. My card today is for two Challenges:-

Patties Creations Challenge#11 - Black & White + 1 Colour - Skin Tones are a freebie. ( My colour is Red and I have took the skin tones as Yellow for his feet & beak) Lol!!! To enter this challenge click here .

The digi image is a freebie from Dustin Pike to be used in the ABC Christmas Challenge found on their site . The colouring medium is Promarkers, the hat & ground have been glittered using 85 Crystal Glitter from Art Institute Glitter. The image has been cut & mounted using "Petite Ovals Large" S4-138 and "Beaded Ovals" S4-294 nesties from Spellbinders. I have used a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder for the sentiment panel. The snowflakes have been cut out of white glitter card using Marianne Design Creatables die LR0123. The black velvet ribbon is from my stash.

Morning folks. Is Christmas and New Year a distant memory? The weeks are going just as fast this year. It is Thursday which must mean it is time for another super Challenge at DIGI DOODLE SHOP'S BEST . This week the theme is "ANYTHING GOES".

The mount has been cut using "Petite Scalloped Ovals Large" nestie from Spellbinders. Then it has been embossed using "Swiss Dots" embossing folder from Cuttlebug. The sentiment is computer generated and the cord is from my stash.

Digi Doodle Shop's Best Challenge#42 DT Card

DT Card.

Here we are 13th January 2011 all ready. It is time again for another great Challenge at DIGI DOODLE SHOP'S BEST . This week is :- Colour Combo of Pink & Green.

This week for my DT Card I have used "Daisy Girl" digi image from the shop, go here to find out how to buy it and download it. The colouring medium is Promarkers. Two corners of the image have been fretted with a corner punch to show the colour of the mount card through. The dp is Cherry Blossoms - Leaves NWCE-P-CB6 Nitwit Collections Essentials. The butterfly has been cut from pink glitter card using Marianne Design Creatables LR0115 die. The ribbon is from my stash.

It's My Birthday!!!!

Hi folks. It is my birthday today and my hubby woke me up at 6.15am this morning to open my prezzies and cards that had arrived previous days. After I opened them all he then told me to go back to sleep!!!! He went into the bathroom to get ready. At 6.45am he woke me again and told me to get up as we were going into town for breakfast. I had a lovely slap up breakie. We were going out for a meal tomorrow evening for a meal with friends as it is my friends birthday Thursday so we were going out in between the two. They have rang to say they both have flu so will not be able to come. We will go out with them when they are better. Hubby and I will still go out though tomorrow.

I was really lucky girl again, I got more crafting goodies and two new nighties. Thank you all for the cards I received, they were all lovely. Others I know have got held up in the post. The post office doesn't need much of a reason, what with the snow and extended holidays we have been having. I have uploaded a scheduled card but will not be uploading a card for today.

The flower has been cut using a Woodware Craft punch. The gem in the middle is from my stash.
