We Love Stamping August Challenge

 Morning Folks, It is time once again for another great challenge to start over at :- https://www.welovestamping.co.uk/  Where the Challenge this month is:- Focal Quote/Sentiment on your creation.  Chosen by:-   https://karensbloggingagain.blogspot.com/ Karen.

There is the option of Anything Goes, but you do have to have at least one thing stamped on your creation.

Two prizes from AALL and Create 1) Rose stamp, stencil and ephemera 2) Floral stamp and stencil

Backing Paper:- Natural item#824 - Fancy Pants

All Stamps and die come from the same set"Blessed to Have You" Gemini - Crafter's Companion

Main Stamps stamped with Petal Point - Tuscany - Colour Box - Pigment Inks

Other stamp stamped with - Tuxedo Black - Memento

Stamped Blank background stamp first.

Stamped the second stamp in a differnet colour over the top

Stamped one of them again and cut the word out with a die and layered over the top.

Edges distressed using - Dried Marigold Distress Inks

Stamped the smaller sentiment stamp and raised it with foam pads.

Ribbon to make the bow from my stash.

This is the first time I have used this stamp set and I must admit it  did take me awhile to figure out how to use it!  Once I had achieved it, it was obvious!

R.I.P. My Darling Boy

In some respects it seems to have gone quickly and others it has dragged, it is a year today since my darling boy died, far too young. 

Thankfully I will be with some of my Salvation Army family this afternoon, not that I will be able to concentrate on the Bible Study.

Anybody else that has losted a child at what ever age I feel for you.  You don't expect your child to die before you.
