Time to Relax

Afternoon peeps. No more snow today and what we did have has melted but it is so cold here today. Went out to the theatre last night and it is only up the road to me as I live in town. When we got there we were so cold. Good job the play was great and was well worth getting cold for.

My card today has got a purpose even though the birthday is a long way off.

Commissioned Valentines Card

Afternoon peeps. I have been in and out all morning, hopefully I can stay in this afternoon and get warm. Had more snow here this morning it was beating on my face.

Today's card is a commissioned one. Not sure if I have done what was needed. The lady in my apartment block asked if I would make this card on behalf of a friend of her daughter's. Hadn't really got much to say about what the girl wanted. The girl did say she wanted it red and it had to have a heart somewhere on it. Also she thought it might be nice raised. No size was asked for but my neighbour didn't think she wanted it to be large and she thought it mustn't have any flowers or ribbon anywhere on the card. I asked about the sentiment on the outside and in and was told to leave inside for her to write her own. I have just had a phone call from my neighbour now it is all finished and stuck with a sentiment for the inside. I said she would now have to wait while I made another card as there is no way I would be able to unstick the hearts from the inside. She said don't worry she will have to write it on herself. I feel bad now but only did what was asked.

Deck the Halls

Afternoon peeps. Nice and sunny here today but still bitterly cold. I had a super time on Saturday, it was a lady's 75 th birthday on the 27 th of Jan who lives in my apartment block and here daughter put on a party for her at her house. It was fantastic, she had caterers in to do it all and it was awesome.

My card today is another just because I want too and it also gets another Christmas card made for my box.
