Ring Out Those Bells

Morning peeps. Hope you are all okay today. I am not going to shout this out, it is sunny and a bit warmer here today, hope your weather is like wise. Meant to be very heavy rain tomorrow, will have to wait and see. My Cards today are just because I want too, also need more Christmas cards under my belt!!!

Morning Peeps. Hope the weather is kind to you today, it seems very mixed at the moment but has certainly turned colder. They said on the weather forecast last night that it is between 4 - 5 degrees cooler than it should be for this time of year.

Christmas Candle

Morning Peeps. Hope you are all happy and well? Today's posting is just because I want too.

My Christmas Candle

Products Used

I had never attempted this before so I contacted the lovely KATE for guidance. I made two candles on the same day. The other one will be on my blog on the 17th September and is part of a Card and Candle set. I prefer that one to be honest.

Candle from Hobby Craft
Image:- Winter Fairy Talva
I printed and coloured the image on my usual card stock.
Promarkers
Photo Copied onto the tissue paper.
Cut out the image leaving a small margin around
Pressed image onto the candle. Wrapped greaseproof paper or wax paper around the candle over the top of the image making sure there is no creases.
Heat gently until you can see the image goes shiny.

Ribbon is from my stash (Make sure the ribbon and paper wrap is removed if you are going to light the candle) and not just using it for decoration.

I was going to glitter this candle but changed my mind as it couldn't be then used for burning.

Through the Craft Room Door Challenge - 19th August - 26th August

Cut a piece of card stock 20cm x 29cm

Score down the middle of the 20cm side.

On the 29cm side score and cut 10cm in from one side down to middle line. Do the same 10cm in from the other side leaving a section for your sentiment. You can of coarse make the sentiment section smaller by adjusting the length to smaller then 29 to start or making the sides larger to fit the images you are using. mat accordingly.
