Craft Your Day's Away Challenge#29 DT Card

Morning folks.  Another week gone by.  It is Saturday (well it is if you live in the UK)  I tend to forget that when I am posting.  Lol!!!!  It is time again for another super Challenge to start over at CRAFT YOUR DAY'S AWAY  .  This fortnights theme is a COLOUR COMBO "PINK/BROWN AND BLUE.  It was the choice of our lovely ANGEL . 

My 6 x 6 DT Card

The image is a digi image "Sybil" from Funky Kits.  The colouring medium is Promarkers.  The dp is from my stash - sorry it has no name on.  The swirl has been cut using LR0118 die by Marianne Design.  The flower and ribbon are from my stash, the button in the middle is from an old button box.

Digi Doodle Shop Challenges#76 - DT Card

Morning peeps.  It is Thursday again and another super duper Challenge is about to start over at  DIGI DOODLE SHOP CHALLENGES .  The theme this week is " AUTUMN COLOURS".  This weeks Challenge is the last one for the current DT's.  This challenge is running for two weeks and runs until 28th September.  Next Challenge will be 6th October and will be the first for the new chosen team.

My 8 x 8 DT Card

My card this week is using one of the new images "The Day Off" and is available from  THE SHOP .  The colouring medium is Promarkers.  The image has been cut and mounted using LF-168 "Grand Labels Large" by Spellbinders.  The sentiment is computer generated and has been cut using S4-168 "Large Labels" also by Spellbinders.  The dp is Urban Window Collection "Peasant Buxom - 60853-0" We R Memory Keepers.  The embellishments are from my Pot-pourri dish that I was about to throw away because of moving house. Lol!!!! The Jute ribbon is from my stash.

Karen's Doodles Challenge#80 DT Card

Morning Peeps.  Monday here again.  All I seem to have done these past few weeks is selling my home/the furniture in it, clearing out drawers and buying new furniture for the forthcoming move. It has been an up and down ride but as from last Friday the sale and move are back on.  Our buyer has the money in the bank to buy ours and he is just hoping he will get another buyer to buy his.  More important to him is for his wife  and himself to be near their daughter so she can take care of them as they are in their 80's and she was doing a long trip each time to Skegness from Colchester.  We are of course still on tender hooks in case he changes his mind again!!!  Still hope to exchange on the 23rd and move on the 30th.  Although we have lost a couple of days where the solicitors stopped doing anything.

I will cut the cackle.  Monday means another super Challenge is about to start over at  KAREN'S DOODLES CHALLENGE BLOG .  Our theme this week is "Check it Out!!! (use checks/gingham on your project).

My image this week is  Backpacking Girl and is one of the super new ones from THE SHOP . The colouring medium is Promarkers and the edges have been distressed with Scattered Straw distress inks.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The image and sentiment have been cut using S4-190 "Labels Four" by Spellbinders. The dp's are 6 x 6 "Brianna Pad" - Brenda Walton - code 624191 by K & Company.  The flower has been cut using a Cuttlebug die "Scribble Flower"

Digi Doodle Shop Challenges#75 - DT Card

Morning peeps.  Another Thursday has arrived.  I don't know where the weeks go.  I am so busy at the moment with my house move it is frightening where the weeks are going.  Showing my age I think you could say!!!  Enough of my chat as I have important news to tell you.  That's right it is time for another super Challenge to start over at  DIGI DOODLE SHOP CHALLENGES .  This week the theme is "CIRCLES" .

My 8 x 8 DT Card

This week I have used the image "Girl Sewing"  from  THE SHOP .  The colouring medium is Promarkers on the original digi image but I have then photocopied it onto Printable Linen from Crafty Computer Paper.  The dp's are "Simplicity - Sequence" item #653 by Nancie Rowe-Janitz from Fancy Pants Designs.  The HAPPY BIRTHDAY sentiment has been computer generated.  The needle/thread and cross-stitch ring are from my stash.

Karen's Doodles Challenge#79 DT Card

It's Monday morning again and it's time for another great Challenge to start over at  KAREN'S DOODLES CHALLENGE BLOG .  This week is everyone's fav "ANYTHING GOES" .



The cutie Image I have used this week is   Skating Pair  from THE SHOP   The colouring medium is Promarkers, the bobbles on the hats and skating line have been glittered with Art Institute Glitter.  The image has been cut and mounted using S4-318 "Fleur de Lis Squares and S4-006 "Squares" by Spellbinders.  Sentiment is computer generated.  Dp is "Tinsel and Twig" 12 x 12 "Deck the Halls" GP65059 the girls Paperie by Magic.  The ribbon trim is LR0134 "Christmas Stars" by Marianne Design.  The ribbon is from my stash.  The gem snowflake is off of an old Christmas Cracker box.  Snowman is from Mei Flower.

Craft Your Day's Away Challenge#28 DT Card

Morning Peeps.  August went like a whirlwind, must be getting old!!!  It is Saturday again so it must mean it is time for another  super fortnights Challenge over at  CRAFT YOUR DAY'S AWAY.  The theme this fortnight is MAKE YOUR OWN FLOWERS.  It is MY turn this week so you have either to blame me or thank me.  Lol!!!!

My A5 DT Card

For my card this time I have used a stamp from Clarity Stamps - "Girlfriends" VC661-H.  The colouring medium is Promarkers.  The image has been cut and mounted using S4-006 "Squares" and S4-318 - "Fleur De Lis Squares" both by Spellbinders.  The leaves have been cut using Little Claire Designs "Leaves#1".  The flowers I used Marianne Design LR0145.  Both have been glittered using "85 Crystal Glitter" by Art Institute Glitter.  The dp is "Gingham Rose Stripe-cream" item#12078 Moda Fabrics - Daisy D'S Paper Company.  The lace is from my stash.

FOOTNOTE:-  Some of you already know that we are waiting to exchange contracts any day now and we are moving to an apartment.  My dear hubby yesterday was clearing the loft and was just getting the last box down and he came over faint and put his foot and leg up to his groin through the lounge ceiling. He really hurt and shook himself up.  When he felt better he had to phone the insurance company to arrange to get it repaired.  We are hoping to get it all sorted this week.  It could only happen to us!!!!!
