Totally Papercrafts Challenge#66

Hi. I have made this card for a Customer so have had to come out of my hidehole. They knew the date of the Golden Wedding party they are going to but not the date of the actual anniversary so sadly I could not put it on the card.

This card is made out of black and gold Stardream card but sadly the photo's do not do the lustre justice. I bought it from Joanna Sheen. The image and bp are also from Joanna Sheen and are from "Floral Fantasy" CDROM. The sentiment is computer generated. The image and sentiment have both been mounted using "Fleur De Lis Rectangles" die S4-317 by Spellbinders. The swirls are LR0118 die by Marianne Design. The ribbon bows are from Ribbon Box. A Very Mixed Week for Me!!!!

It has been a roller coaster week for me this week. First of all I lost my Dear Dad late Tuesday evening. He gave up his fight bless him. I am the only child and I lost my Mum last July so it is all down to me to arrange things. I have had a lot of help from of course my hubby and also from a couple that help look after my parents as they lived in my parents home town and I also went to school with the chap from the couple. His funeral is on Monday 23rd May so I hope things will get a bit easier after that. Although the pain will still be there.

On a happier note I have been chosen for the DT for CRAFT YOUR DAYS AWAY which is fortnightly challenge and is open to what ever style of crafting that you enjoy. Of course I am thrilled and it hasn't sunk in yet. The excitment has of course been marred by the news of my Dad.

Digi Doodle Shop's Best Challenge#58 DT Card

Morning peeps. The year is going in full swing!!! Another Challenge is just starting over at DIGI DOODLE SHOP'S BEST . This week the challenge is a Colour Combo of Blue & Pink.

I have used on my project this week the digi image "Carousel". Go to THE SHOP to find out how to buy and download it. The colouring medium is Promarkers. The image has been cut & mounted using "Labels Three" S4-189 by Spellbinders. The ribbon for the bow and the shreaded filling in the basket are from my stash. The dp is "Noah" item ~831 Sweet Pea by Michelle Coleman from Fancy Pants Designs.

Sorry If I haven't visited you

Hi my lovely blogging friends. I am so sorry if I haven't managed to visit you daily as I usually do and I haven't managed to enter a Challenge every day. I am afraid my dear Dad is in a coma now and it is only a matter of time before he joins my Mum who I lost last July. I have managed to complete my DT commitments of card making and commenting but I am afraid I have let all my blogging friends down lately. I had a very sleepless night as they didn't expect him to last the night but he has proved them wrong bless him. I am catching up with visiting friends blogs and commenting on all their cards that I have missed so please bear with me.

Digi Doodle Shop's Best Challenge#57 DT Card

Morning Peeps. Hope you are all happy and well? It is Thursday so that must mean it is time again for another super Challenge over at DIGI DOODLE SHOP'S BEST . This week we would like you to follow the SKETCH below, which has been thought up by our lovely Karen L. My 6 x 6 DT Card

This lovely Digi Image is "Fairy & Daisy" from THE SHOP. The colouring medium is Promarkers. The image has been glittered with Art Institute "Egg Medallions Transparent Pee Wee Kit" The edges have been stippled using "Shabby Shutters" DI. I have used "Standard Circles Large" S4-114 and "Petite Scalloped Circles Large" S4-115 by Spellbinders to cut & mount. The dp is "Milton" PP006 by Wild Rose Studio Ltd. The top & bottom border trim and the 2 Butterflies on the sides have been cut using Martha Stewart punches. The Butterflies have been stickled down the middle. The Craft Candy is by Craftwork Cards.

2nd Card for Craft Your Days Away Ch#19 + DT Call

Afternoon folks. This is my second card for the super Challenge over at CRAFT YOUR DAYS AWAY they also have a DT call (Info below).

For this I have used the Digi Image "Dance Fever" from Karen's Doodles. The colouring medium is Promarkers. The dp's are "Dot and Dash" - 7B-Q from Foundations. The image and dp layers have been cut & mounted using "Labels One" S4-161 and "Grand Labels One" LF-161 by Spellbinders. The flowers have been made by using Nellie Snellen flower punches. They have been coloured with the same coloured Promarkers as the image. The centres have been glittered using "Icicle" Stickles.

They are really excited over at CRAFT YOUR DAYS AWAY as they are not just starting another Challenge in which the theme is MUSIC & DANCE but they are doing a DT Call. If you are entering you will have to be able to commit to producing a piece of work every fortnight for the Challenges. No previous DT experience is neccessary. They are a friendly team and there are very few rules. To apply all you need is......

- Have a Blog

- Join in with this Challenge

Craft Your Days Away Ch#19 + DT Call

Afternoon peeps. It is lovely and sunny here today but a cold breeze. My card today is in response to a DT call (details below) but also to enter the Challenge.

For my 8 x 8 card I have used CRAFTY ANN'S digi image "Music Collage3" . The colouring medium is Promarkers. The sentiment is a borrowed stamp from a friend. The image & sentiment have both been distressed with "Old Paper" DI. The bp's are also from CRAFTY ANN'S "Abstract1 Pastels Collection" The lace & flowers are from my stash.

They are very excited over at CRAFT YOUR DAYS AWAY as they are not only running a new Challenge with the theme of MUSIC & DANCE but they are having a DT Call. You must be committed to producing a piece of work every fortnight for the Challenges. No previous DT experience is neccessary. They are a friendly happy team and there are very few rules.
