Today we make our way on the outward journey from Hertfordshire to Yorkshire. Our first stop in Yorkshire is Harrogate for the afternoon, then we make our way to our hotel in Huby - near York for the evening meal.
Friday we take the coach to Pickering and get on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a lovely train ride across the moors to the coastal town of Whitby . We have the afternoon at Whitby, returning to our hotel in Huby in the evening.
Saturday we have a full day in the city of York visiting all the museums and shopping, returning to our hotel once again in the evening.
Sunday we leave the hotel and visit the 18th century stately home Castle Howard. After seeing the Castle and landscape gardens and having lunch we make our way home to Hertfordshire. Hopefully we will make it home by 8pm.
Then there is all the unpacking of the dirty washing - toiletries and putting all the suitcases away until the next trip away!!!

Have a fabulous day in Yorkshire. We live in a little village to the east of York and it's gorgeous up here! Enjoy York city (I'm there tomorrow!) Castle Howard is fab too. Have a great time
