I have made a New Year card today. Yesterday I was embarrassed as the lady on the checkout till at my local supermarket gave me a Christmas Card and I hadn't made her one. I haven't been going to her till that long but we always have a laugh. I use to go to another lady but her husband is seriously ill with Leukaemia and a lot of the time I go she is off taking him for therapy or he is just too ill to leave. The lady that gave me the lovely card is not on during the day next week when I will be doing my last minute bits, she says they have put her on nights. The only thing to do was to make her a New Year's card and put her on my Christmas list for next year.

This is a great idea! I haven't made any new year's cards yet! It is a little awkward to receive a card and not have one to give in return - a very thoughtful lady! You have very friendly cashiers where you live!
