Karen's Doodles Challenge#97 DT Card

Morning folks. Monday again!!! Can't believe it is the 30th already. Start of another fun packed week for you I hope? It is time for another super Challenge to start over at KAREN'S DOODLES . This week the theme is "CUTE AND CUDDLY".

My DT Card.

The image I have used is "Tiger Fun" from THE SHOP. The colouring medium is Promarkers, the balloons have been glazed using Glossy Accents. The image has been cut using "S4-168 Large Labels" by Spellbinders. The card blank has been cut of Stardream card from Joanna Sheen using "LF-168 Grand Large Labels" by Spellbinders. I have used the same die to cut the dp layers. The dp's are "First Date item#762 Crush" by Michelle Coleman Fancy Pants Designs. The sentiment is computer generated. The tassel is from my stash.

LOTV - Fairy

Morning peeps. The day here started nice and sunny but has now clouded over. I am told by one of the other residents that it is a bitter wind out. She proved it by putting her freezing cold hands on me!!!

My card today is made using a LOTV Stamp. The colouring medium is Promarkers. The wings have been glittered using "Egg Medallions" by Art Institute Glitter. The image has been cut and mounted using "S4-006 Squares" and "S4-127 Classic Scalloped Squares Large" by Spellbinders. The flowers and leaves have been created using "LR0162 English Rose" die by Marianne Design. The dp's and lace are from my stash. The sentiment is a freebie "!ts Your Day" from DIGI DOODLE SHOP. The butterfly has been cut using "S3-038 Butterflies" by Spellbinders.

Digi Doodle Shop Challenges#91 DT Card

Morning peeps. It is Thursday (sorry if you already knew) Lol!!! At my age I have to check in the diary. Lol!!! It is time for another Challenge to start over at DIGI DOODLE SHOP CHALLENGES. This week our theme is a colour combo of "BLUE AND BROWN".

My A5 Landscape DT Card

The image I have used this week is "Old Truck1" and can be found:- Shop by Theme - Masculine. IN THE SHOP. The colouring medium is Promarkers. The digi paper is "For Men1" from Bearly Mine. The sentiment is computer generated. The Jute ribbon is from my stash. It started out as cream in colour but I coloured it with Powder Blue Promarker. The candy is by Craftwork Cards.

Karen's Doodles Challenge#96 DT Card

Morning peeps. Another week flown by. It is Monday so that means it is time for another Challenge to start over at KAREN'S DOODLES. This time we want you to do "PAPER PIECING".

Dropping the Shopping

Morning peeps. I am being good, this is my second Christmas card of 2012 already and they are both LOTV images. This stamp is called "Dropping the Shopping".

I have used my trusted Promarkers to colour the image. The fur trim has been glittered using "85 Crystal" by Art Institute Glitter. The snow has been produced using Twinklets "Diamond Dust" The image has been cut and mounted using "S4-249 Big Scalloped Circles Large" and "S4-114 Standard Circles Large" by Spellbinders. The dp is a freebie download Digi from Bearlymine called "Xmas Freebie 01. The sentiment is a freebie download Digi from Digi Doodle Shop Challenges shop called "Warm Wishes", it has been coloured with Promarkers. The glittered gold jute ribbon I found in my stash, recycled from somewhere because I have never bought any or seen it on sale!!!! The red lace is from my stash on a card with other red laces but sorry I have no idea who it was bought from, do remember it was on the internet!!! The roses are from Joanna Sheen, glittered using "Golden Rod" Stickles.

Four Challenges - One Card

The sun has been out here today but I think we are in for a sharp frost here tonight.

After talking about the lovely weather I have made a Christmas card today. Lol!!! I am thinking ahead for next Christmas already before we have had our spring and summer. The image is "Christmas Candle" from L.O.T.V. The colouring medium is Promarkers. The fur on the hat and ends of the scarf have been glittered with Art Institute 85 Crystal glitter. The snow has been produced using Twinklets Diamond Dust. The two decorative corners have been cut using a Cuttlebug die. The sentiment has been embossed using a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The dp is "Wish Upon" P295 Sparkle by Kaiser Craft. The ribbon and gems are recycled from my Birthday presents wrapping and an old card.

My 60th Birthday Cards

Hi Sweeties. I thought I would show you my 60th Birthday cards. The picture was taken yesterday morning by my dear hubby and then the postman brought some more, so if you card is not shown here I apologise but it was gratefully received and thank you.

I had a lovely meal with friends in Suffolk Wednesday night and stayed over with them. Then last night my dear beloved had organised a party here in the residents lounge for me. He did all the food and decoration of the room bless him. We had a great time and lots of people over slept this morning and there is a few sore heads. Lol!!!

DIGI DOODLE SHOP NOW HAS REWARD POINTS

What are reward points?
Reward points are given to each stamp at Digi Doodle Shop (except for gift certificates and 99 cent stamps), and each product has it's own point value.

How Can I use my reward points?
Reward points are basically same as cash - only better, because at Digi Doodle Shop, each point is worth 10 cents. For example: if you have 3 points that is equal to 30 cents, and because you get 3 points for every stamp purchased, your points can add up quick!

Can I save my reward points?
Yes, points can be saved and used as you choose. You can save all accumulated points to use on one future order or you can use some points now and some later.

When are new points added to my customer account?
New points are added to customer accounts as orders are processed. Please be patient with us, as we will manually need to add points to your account. We will move pending points to accounts on a daily basis. You may not see your points immediately, but we will add them as soon as possible.

How often will I receive reward points?
New points are added each time you place a new order. You will accumulate the number of points for the items you purchased.

What products receive reward points?
All products available at Digi Doodle Shop reward point values, except for gift certificates, and 99 cent stamps. Gift certificate purchases do not accumulate points. However orders placed using gift certificate balances will accumulate new points.

How do I redeem my reward points?
During the check out process you can enter the points you would like to apply to your order before confirming your order. Please note that once you confirm your order any rewards points entered for redemption will be deleted from your account. Also please note that if you forget to use your points when checking out, you will need to save them for the next order you place. We cannot edit orders to change or add reward points. Thank you for your understanding.

My Favourites!!!!! 2011

This is meant to be my favourite five cards of 2011. But like DEBBY I have extended it some what. Lol!!!!

This card was made with two Karen's Doodles digi images.

This adorable little girl is a Funky Kits digi image.

This is a Digi Doodles Shop Challenge digi image and I made it for my hubby for Valentines Day.

This card has a Karen's Doodles image and was the 2nd card I made for them when I was a Guest Designer for a month.

Another Karen's Doodles image and this was my 4th Guest Designer card.

This one is using a Digi Doodle Shop Challenges digi image and a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The papers are Webster pages and I thought they went so well.

I broke the mould with this one and used a Creative Expression stamp plate. I put Glossy Accents on the wine bottles and glasses and also used distress inks instead of my trusty Promarkers.

Karen's Doodles image again and the sentiment is a freebie from Digi Doodles Shop Challenges. The strawberries are made of wood and I bought from a garden centre.

Morning peeps. Is your household getting excited about the big day looming? I sadly have had my prezzie, a new super computer. Fabulous high spec. It will have to do for my big birthday that is looming as well. I will be 60 on the 4th January but sadly will have to wait for my pension etc until September 2013!!!!

Craft Your Day's Away Challenge#35 DT Card

Morning peeps. It is Saturday and it is time to start our last Challenge of the year over at

CRAFT YOUR DAY'S AWAY. This challenge will be a month long challenge and our next one will be starting on the 7th January 2012. Gulp! that sounds a long way away. On to this times challenge, our theme this time is "Snowmen" and has been picked by our lovely AMANDA.

My DT Card

For my card I have used "Giordano Christmas Creations" CDROM by Joanna Sheen. I have printed one of the shaped cards from this great CDROM. I have layered five layers of decoupage but have only used 1mm tape on each layer so not to make it too high. I have glittered the last layer using "85 Crystal" from Art Institute Glitter. I enjoyed using one of my CD's for a change instead of Digi images or stamps.

Have a great time with this challenge and behalf of myself and the CYDA team I wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR and hope to see you joining us next year.

Digi Doodle Shop Challenges#86 - DT Card

Morning peeps. Lovely and sunny here today, I wonder how long that will last. It is Thursday so that must mean it is another chance to join in the new super Challenge just starting over at

My 8 x 8 DT Card

This week I have used "Cherry Blossom" from THE SHOP. I have gone with a bit of an oriental direction with this one. The colouring medium is Promarkers. The edges and background have been stippled using "Weathered Wood" DI. The two bp's are from my stash. The two oriental charms are from
THE FRUIT PIXIE. The four tiny butterflies have been cut out of pearl card using a small punch.

The image I have used today is "Santa Christmas". You can find this in THE SHOP . The colouring medium is Promarkers and "Old Paper" Distress Inks. The cuffs and bottom trim on Santa's coat has been glittered using "85 Crystal" from Art Institute Glitter. The ribbon and gold embossed card are from my stash. The frame and two sentiments are "Sonnets Poemstones" by Sharon Soneff. This card was very difficult to photography as the frame and also the two sentiments are shiny and they are both raised and shaped.

My image this week is a Christmas cutie SNOW ANGEL from THE SHOP . The colouring medium is Promarkers. I have used a Cuttlebug folder for the embossed panel and sentiment. The sentiment has been cut using S4-293 "Lacey Circles" the image has been cut using S4-161 "Labels One" both by Spellbinders. The snow has been picked out using a combination of "85 Crystal" glitter by Art Institute and "Diamond Dust" by Twinklets. The dp is "Colossal Paper Pack" PMA 297 by Papermania.

Good morning bloggers! Today sees a very special day at KAREN'S DOODLES SHOP with the launch of some new Christmas images and your chance to win some in our Blog Hop!

My Christmas Blog Hop DT Card

As I have already stated above my image this week is one of the new images Karen has drawn for this Christmas and is called "BOVINE BETTY CHRISTMAS". Karen's Doodles Challenge#80 DT Card

Morning Peeps. Monday here again. All I seem to have done these past few weeks is selling my home/the furniture in it, clearing out drawers and buying new furniture for the forthcoming move. It has been an up and down ride but as from last Friday the sale and move are back on. Our buyer has the money in the bank to buy ours and he is just hoping he will get another buyer to buy his. More important to him is for his wife and himself to be near their daughter so she can take care of them as they are in their 80's and she was doing a long trip each time to Skegness from Colchester. We are of course still on tender hooks in case he changes his mind again!!! Still hope to exchange on the 23rd and move on the 30th. Although we have lost a couple of days where the solicitors stopped doing anything.

FOOTNOTE:- Some of you already know that we are waiting to exchange contracts any day now and we are moving to an apartment. My dear hubby yesterday was clearing the loft and was just getting the last box down and he came over faint and put his foot and leg up to his groin through the lounge ceiling. He really hurt and shook himself up. When he felt better he had to phone the insurance company to arrange to get it repaired. We are hoping to get it all sorted this week. Morning folks. It is Monday again. Time again for another super Challenge over at KAREN'S DOODLES CHALLENGE BLOG . The theme this week is "FANCY FOLD'S - more than one fold.

My image I have used today is Herbert Christmas. For other images click HERE .The colouring medium is Promarkers. The fur on Herbert's hat and the snow has been glittered using "85 Crystal Glitter" by Art Institute Glitter. The snow has also been picked out using "Diamond Dust" by Twinklets. The two sentiments are "Stickeroo's by Penny Black. The clear stickers and the felt embellishments are from my stash.

I must say I got carried away with the embellishments on this card but what is Christmas for. Lol!!!

Karen's Doodles Challenge#74

Morning you lovely people. It is Monday morning so it must mean it is time for another super Challenge over at KAREN'S DOODLES CHALLENGE BLOG. I am so excited and a little nervous to say the least as it is my first week on the team. So treat me gently. This week our theme is RECYCLE (use something that had a purpose before).

My 8 x 8 DT Card

The image I have used this week is "SANTA CRUISIN". You can pick up other images HERE. I have printed the image on to the same card that I usually use. I have coloured it with Promarkers. Then I photocopied it onto printable linen. I bought mine from Crafty Computer Paper. The cardstock is Stardream from Joanna Sheen. Dp's are "Be Good :Ornaments" by Cosmo Cricket - "Peaceful Dream" Dream Lines/Relaxing Red Paper 29th Street Market " by Jen Wilson from My Minds Eye. As you can see I have used a redundant Cross Stitch ring. I thought at the time I would be as clever as my Step Daughter but it never happened!!!!

Wine Label Stamp 2nd Card

Afternoon folks. I am not my organised self this week I seem to be running very late with everything!!! I am not a happy bunny because I like life calm!!!

I have used "Wine Label" plate again for this card. Designed by Sam Poole from Creative Expressions.

Bp is from 3 sheets of wrapping paper that I bought years ago because I knew it would come in handy. Lol!!!
Sentiments are computer generated. I never usually do distress cards as I am never sure about them. This card is for my Step Son in Law who lives in France.

YES!!!!! I Made It + A Card

Afternoon Peeps. I am one very happy lady today and couldn't wait to tell everybody but was told I wasn't allowed to announce it until it was on the Challenge Blog. I am very pleased to announce that I have made the KAREN'S DOODLES DT after wishing to join them for yonks I have finally made it!!! I only hope that I can meet the very high standards of the other girls.

A very different sort of card than what I normally make.

The above card is very different to what I usually make but I had this stamp plate in my craft box for ages but had never used it. It was only because my craft club choose to use it last week that I said I have that one but it has never been inked. I took mine along so there was 3 sets to share between the 12 of us. This is one of two cards that I created with it. Not that I did it at craft club may I add as I never seem to produce when I go as I do too much talking and I also get tired in the evenings.

The stamp plate is "Wine Label" designed by Sam Poole from Creative Expressions. The images and writing has been stamped in "Black Soot" DI. The wine glasses and bottles have been coloured with "Aged Mahogany" DI, I have also used Gloss Accents. The writing I have used "Vintage Photo" DI over the top. The wine bottle label is coloured with "Old Paper" DI. The corks and sentiment I have used "Tea Dye" DI. The sentiment is computer generated and I have typed in French "Joyeux Anniversaire" Happy Birthday.

Afternoon peeps. A very mixed day here today. More like April Showers. Rain one minute and sunny the next. Still quite muggy though.

For my card today I have used "Victorian Christmas" CD ROM from Joanna Sheen. Both the image and two bp's are taken from here. Afternoon peeps. It is raining here today, which is typical as we are going out with friends tonight for a meal. We are going to a pub that I haven't been to in years. It is lovely and is by a river and it is so lovely in the summer!!!! Not that I will be sitting outside tonight.

My card today is using the very cute stamp "Long Stem Cuties" 1648K from Penny Black. The colouring medium is Promarkers. The rose on the image has been glittered using "85 Crystal" by Art Institute Glitter. The dp is "Spring Feast" 6 x 6 Premium Paper Pad by Mindy Terasawa FEPAD015. The Royal Lace doily is from Joanna Sheen and is 5 inch diameter. The Happy Birthday sentiment ticket is from Crafty Ann's. The flowers are from Joanna Sheen.

Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges Challenge#67 DT Card

Morning Peeps. It is that time of the week again. Another super Challenge is just starting over at DIGI DOODLE SHOP CHALLENGES . This week's theme is Make Your Own Flowers.

My A5 DT Card

The digi image I have used this week is "Fresh Baked Pie1" from THE SHOP . The colouring medium is Promarkers. The dp's are "Unique" item #975 Chi-Chi by Nancie Rowe Janitz from Fancy Pants Designs. The flowers have been simply made using a Woodware 6 petal punch. I cut three shapes for each flower. I put a brad through the middle. I then sprayed with Cosmic Shimmers. Scrunched them up while damp. Left them to dry, then teased them out as much as I wanted them to be. I then picked out the edges with Glossy Accents, sprinkled Gold Glamour Dust over. The sentiment is "PMA523 Thank You" wire words from Papermania.
