Crafty Ann's Challenge #9

Good afternoon. Hope you are all well and fighting fit. My mouth is a little easier today but I am still dosing myself up with painkillers and using a mouthwash twice a day. It hurts to eat and drink and I never thought I would say that I dreaded eating. Lol!!!

This is the second card I have made with my friends borrowed stamp and have tried to do something slightly different with it today. The colouring medium today was a mixture of H20's & Cosmic Shimmers. The Doily is from Ribbon Box and I have coloured it with Sun Flower Yellow Brilliance Archival inkpad. The flower is from my stash. I am entering this for CACB as it is to use a new technique/product or fold/design. I do not usually use Doilies or ink things to colourise them. The rules of how to enter and what the prize is can be found here

Thank you for looking.

  3. This is really lovely Cathy - I bet the shimmer is fabulous in real life. I'm sorry to hear about your toothache too - my poor OH has been fighting a similar problem for the last few months that the dentist couldn't pin down, I hope yours is sorted really quickly.

  4. Hi Cathy
Sorry to hear about your tooth. Hope you get better soon. I'm so jealous that you went to Stamperama on Sunday - I had friends over so couldn't go - boo hoo. Anyway love your use of the doily - I've got some knocking about in my stash that I bought from Ribbon Box at last year's Stamperama - I've used them on a scrapbook layout but not on a card - so you've inspired me to do so! Watch this space!

    Take care

What a gorgeous card you have made. It's a pity that stamp can't find a permanent home in your house as it's lovely and you've done a lovely job colouring in the image.

Thank you for taking the time to enter this into the Crafty Ann's Challenge this fortnight. I was lucky enough to be a Guest Designer this month so I am looking at all the lovely creations and seeing how others interpreted the challenge.

Take care and my best wishes, Kym xxx

  10. Such a lovely card Cathy and I think the doiley makes the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous image.
I have a couple of Serendipity stamps which I purchased from Joanna, sadly she no longer sells them and I don't know where else they can be bought, such a shame as I love them.
Thanks for joining in again with CACB.
