The prize for this second challenge is 2 of Ann's super Digi images and 1 collection of 6 sheets of her adorable Backing Paper's from her collection found on here site. The choice is up to the winner. To enter this challenge and read all the details how to enter go here

I have made this card by using Paisley Positive Enamel Glazed card from Kanban CRD8185 for the main card. The stamp is from Papermania. This image has been mounted on to Black Satin card and has been coloured with Promarkers and glittered in places with Sakura Glitter pens. It is an A6 card and the plus colour I have chosen is of course yellow.
I know the image is probably more appropiate for Easter than Christmas time but I just fancied doing it. Lol!!!

4 baby Boy Cards + 2 Others.

Afternoon everybody. It is sunny here today but the wind is still biting. I hope not too many of you had trouble with the rain and floods. My thoughts are with you all. Well it has happened at last, the young lady that does my Manicures has had her baby at last. It was a little boy, well not so little he was 9lbs. She is tall but not big built so I hate to image what she went through. Everyone where she works is now of course asking for Baby Boy cards and I went today to remove the Baby Girl ones from my sale basket.

This card above was from Crafter's Companion - Popcorn the Bear CDROM- Disc 3 the Birthday section. Both the bp and image are from this disc. The sentiment is typed on the computer.

This one was made with an image from Google, the image was put through MCS to change the colour. The bp is from MCS and also put through MCS to change the colour. The sentiment has been typed on the computer.

This is another Google image and the bp is from MCS. The colours on this image and bp didn't have to be changed this time. The sentiment is typed on the computer.

Another Popcorn the Bear image and bp from Crafters Companion CDROM also from Disc 3 Birthday section.

For this one the bp is from Joanna Sheen's RHS CDROM. The stamped is from Penny Black "Team Efforts" 3980K. The image has been coloured with Promarkers. The lace and flower are from my stash.

This one is a free download from Crafters Companion, but I think the image and bp may be found on their double CDROM called Occupations & Hobbies. This is a pyramage diamond image matted onto gold mirri card.
Thank you for looking today and taking the time to make any comments.

Yet 3 More Christmas Cards!!!!!!

Morning crafty people. I hope the weather is better where you are, it is really blowing a gale here this morning. I went to the shops and I got blown in the opposite direction. Lol!!!! Here is another three cards for Christmas today just for a change.

This first card I have used for the bp "Contemporary Christmas Colossal Paper Pack" 8 x 8 from Papermania. This has been matted onto Silver Mirri Card. The next layer I have also matted onto Silver Mirri card a blue pearlised card put through the Cuttlebug with a Snowflakes Cuttlebug embossing folder. I have used a black ink pad with detail clear embossing powder to stamp the Snow Choir image. This jolly stamp is from Creative Expressions HH912K. The image has been watercoloured with Twinkling H20's. I have also picked out the snowman and snow with Polar White from the Diamond Range Flower Soft.
This card is one of the three cards that I made on Saturday at Leonie Pujol's workshop which was held in Harlow Essex. We also had a great play at the end of the afternoon with different spray techniques and triple embossing.

This last card is an A5 double sided pearl card. Bp is from an 8 x 8 Designer Paper Pack - "Victorian Christmas" by Dovecraft. Stamp is from Creative Expressions LL09K. I have also used cream pearlised card put through the Cuttlebug with a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the sentiments plate. The stamped image has been watercoloured with Cosmic Shimmers and Sakura Glitter Pens.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look today and your comments are appreciated. I am being very naughty this week as we went out with friends for a meal last night and I am going out again tomorrow with one of my Craft Clubs for our Christmas meal so bang goes the diet again this week. Hope you all keep well until I blog again.

Love

Cathy

My Second Entry for Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog #1 - Let's Celebrate.

This is my second entry to Crafty Ann's first Challenge Blog - theme of 'Lets Celebrate' details can be found here Pop over to the challenge blog to check it out, you can as you can see you can enter more than once.
Ann is a very talented lady and has produced some lovely digi stamps and backing papers which can be found for sale on her site. To celebrate this first challenge there will be a prize for one lucky person. The winner will receive any 5 digi stamps and 5 backing paper collections of their choice. Currently there are 12 backing paper collections and 18 digi stamps - although there will most likely be more to choose from by the time the winner is announced at the end of the two weeks. You can check out what you might win on the pages at the top of the blog and they can of course be purchased from Ann now.
For this entry I have again used The Royal Horticultural Society Collection CDROM from Joanna Sheen, this is a 3 disc set and I have used Disc 2 for this 8 x 8 square card. It is from the Vintage Catalogue Covers section. I just had to use this CDROM as the card is for my Brother in law's 80th birthday early next year and he is a very keen gardener. The main card is made with Stardream card. The matting and layering is with gold mirri card which has had the edges embossed on a scoreboard. Both the topper and the backing paper have been printed from the CDROM, although I have altered the date on the topper as it had the date of 1905. He was born in 1930 so I altered it by using the snapshot tool and saved it and altered it through Paintshop Pro . The 80 and the name RON have been cut using Cuttlebug dies through my Cuttlebug. The insert has various photo's of him through his life.
I wish everyone the best of luck and hope you enjoy yourselves in taking part in this challenge.

Crafty Ann's Challenge # 1 - Let's Celebrate

This is the very first challenge of Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog and can be found here . It is a first for me as well as I have never had the nerve to enter any before and I do hope I have done everything correctly. This first one has the theme of 'Let's Celebrate'. Pop over to the challenge blog and check it out!

Ann is a very talented lady and has created many digi stamps and backing papers which can be found on her site.

This A5 card has been produced by using The Royal Horticultural Society Collection CDROM from Joanna Sheen. This is a 3 disc set. Both the image and backing paper have come here and are from Disc 1 and is taken from the Caroline Maria Applebee section. She was born in London in 1799 and appears to have been the daughter of a wealthy middle-class family that had conservatories and greenhouses. Very little is known about Miss Applebee. It is believed she was a talented amateur artist whose work were unpublished. Her paintings feature a large range of plants, including the more rare exotic varieties of the day, that would only survive under glass. I have used Stardream card for the main card and also a contrasting colour for the matting and layering card, both have been embossed around the edges on a scoreboard. The bow is from my stash. The pearls on four corners of the topper are also from my stash and are Crystal Stickers by Mark Richards - Style # 1952 size 5mm.

I hope you can join in the fun and this challenge lasts for two weeks, details on Ann's blog. For this first challenge Ann is offering a prize for one lucky person. The winner will receive any 5 digi stamps and 5 backing paper collection of their choice. Currently there are 12 backing paper collections and 18 digi stamps - although there will most likely be more to choose from by the time the winner is announced. You can check out what you might win on the pages at the top of the blog, and they are of course available to purchase at Crafty Ann's now.

Have fun.

3 Lyra Aquacolour cards/4 Promarkers.

Hi Folks - Had a great day yesterday but very tiring. I went to the Hobbycraft fair at Birmingham NEC with my dear friend Marianne. She is always a little angel and drives us all over the country to different fairs and workshops. I don't know what I would do without her. The following seven cards have been made with colouring with Lyra Aquacolours or Promarkers both I have bought from Joanna Sheen. I am still a novice at using the Promarkers. I usually get the best results with Cosmic Shimmer's but I think I am improving slowly with the Promarkers. All the papers used are from my stash.

This card has used the Lyra Aquacolours. The stamp is a Sugar Nellie stamp " Jingle Bells" I have used the Twinklets Diamond Dust to pick out the snow. It is the first time I have used this and I was pleased with the results. I was warned before hand by Marianne not to go to heavy handed with it though. The card is A6.

Again I have used the Lyra Aquacolour's but I have used the Sakura Glitter pens to pick out bits. The stamp is a Penny Black one " A Great Surprise!" 2623L. The card is DL.

This card is A5 in size. The images have been coloured with Promarkers this time. The stamp plates used are from Joanna Sheen. They are in the Messy Rabbit range. The church is from "Rabbit Couple Extra Bits" MR119 and the other images are from "Choirboy Rabbit" MR147.

This one again has been coloured with Promarkers and bits picked out with Sakura Glitter Pens. This is an A6 card. The stamp used is another Sugar Nellie stamp "Trimming the Tree"

Another A6 card coloured with Promarkers. Stamp is called "Christmas Kisses!" from Sugar Nellie. An A6 card.

This one has again been coloured with Lyra Aquacolours. The stamp is from Joanna Sheen and is called "Christmas Hoot" HO405. An A6 card.

This one is a lovely delicate one, again A6. It took me a time to pick out all the different bits and pieces to colour in with Promarkers and bits picked out with Sakura Glitter pens. The stamp used is "Noel Eve" SAK-FET-07 from Sarah Kay.
Thank you for once again taking the time to look today. I hope you are all well on the way to finishing your Christmas cards. Lol!!!!
