3 MCS Cards + 2 Others

Afternoon everyone. I do hope you have had a smashing Christmas and have had your fill of goodies. I have had to get my finger out to make some cards to replace the Christmas cards that are left in my sale basket. I will pop to the saloon Tuesday to take them out as I am not sure if they are open Monday.
This card is made from a free download from MCS as I have some of their CDROM's it was emailed to me. It is called Mystical Sunset and is a decoupage sheet with a setiment banner. The background is called Background 2. The bp and the image and sentiment have been matted on to silver mirri card. A little glitter bow has been added to the corner. This one isn't going in my sale basket because it is my friends daughter's 14th birthday on the 25th of this month so it will be going to her.
For this card the bp image is from Google and I have put it through MCS to alter the size and colour. The dragon is a free download from Cuddly Buddly Crafts and it is a line drawing. The colouring medium used is Promarkers.

This one again has the bp from Google and put through MCS to size and colour. The dragon is a line drawing image from Google. The colouring medium is Promarkers.

This one is from MCS " Whimiscal Ways CDROM. It is from the full images section and is called "Eating Cherries", it has been printed on to satin Photograph paper.

This last one is from MCS CDROM " World of Watercolour" and the image is called "Ducklings" The frame is "Frame 8". This also has been printed on to satin photograph paper.

I must close now and think about getting OH some lunch. I hope you enjoy looking at my blog today and thank you for taking the time and for any comments you have time to leave.

5 Digi Stamp Cards + 1 Dufex Fairy Decoupage

Morning you lovely people on this cold and snowy day. We have had loads of snow here which came down Thursday evening while I was out at one of my Craft Clubs. Wow did we have a surprise when we looked out the window just before coming home. We were so involved with our crafting we hadn't looked out the window. Took me an hour to do a ten minute journey. Hence I haven't been out the door since. Cars were sliding all over the place and going into one another. Dustman didn't come on the Friday and I have had no post Friday or Saturday.

Four of the cards I have made this week are digi stamp downloads from Sketching Stamper. The backing papers for these four cards are from Colour My World Perfect Paper CD's "Chloe Rose" and "Cheeky Monkey". The colouring medium used is Promarkers.

Thank you for looking today and any comments you have time to leave at this very busy time of the year. I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and wish you a Healthy and Prosperous New Year for 2010. I am not sure if I will have time to post again before Christmas.

Mixture of Four

Hi Campers - four different cards this week and only one is a Christmas card. I have made and sent all my Christmas cards so this one is a start on next years. Lol!!!!

The back image for this card is from Google. The stamped image is Venetian Lofty LF204 from the Lofty range by Joanna Sheen. I have used Promarkers to colour the image. Tan - Raw Sienna - Spice - Chestnut - Walnut - Fuchsia Pink - Powder Blue - Blue Pearl - Cyan - China Blue - Ice Grey 1 - Black - Sunflower. Ribbon is Premium Ribbon from American Crafts.

The backing paper used is from my stash but I have a feeling I bought it from Joanna Sheen. I also can't remember the name of the punch I used at the side or the make. But it embosses as well as punching the pattern. The stamp is a clear stamp "Quiet Moments" by Sarah Kay SAKAM9B. I have used Promarkers to colour the image. Pastel Blue - Powder Blue - Blue Pearl - Blush - Henna - Umber - Black - Cool Grey 1 & 2 - Terracota - Caramel - Sandstone - Hot Pink - Poppy - Berry Red - Warm Grey 5.

Backing paper used here is from Elizabeth Brownd 6 x 6 Scrapbook Designer Papers by K & Company. The stamp is a clear stamp from Sarah Kay "Fanny's Cuddle" SAKANSK88. I have used Promarkers - Blush - Tan - Caramel - Sandstone - Raw Sienna - Buttercup - Primrose - Gold - Saffron - Tulip Yellow - Heanna. Mounted onto Spellbinders diecut Labels.

This one was made at one of my craft clubs and is of course is a Penny Roller card. I know the backing paper is from a 6 x 6 pad Victorian Christmas Designer Paper Pack by Dovecraft because I have the same papers in an 8 x 8 version.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my blog today and thank you for any comments you have time to leave.

2 Baby First Christmas - + 3 Others!!!!

Morning on this very dismal looking day. Glad I am not going out anywhere today. Just waiting for my hairdresser to arrive. Appointment was 9am so I got up early and she rang at 8am and said she couldn't make it until 10am. Grrr!!! I know I promised no more baby cards last week but does Babies first Christmas count. Lol!!!!

This A4 card has been made with two downloads given to me by two dear friends as I thought the images went very well together. The snow has been produced by Polar White Flowersoft. The backing paper is from my stash.

This card was one of three cards that I made at my craft club last week. The instructions come from my craft friend Viv. It is a 6 x 6 square card. I do not know the stamps used as they were borrowed at the club. The Butterflys & Flowers were stamped on vellum and watercoloured with Frosted Mellow Cosmic Shimmer and Bronze Medallion Twinkling H20's. The pocket to put the sentiment in was produced this way.
1) Take a piece of patterned paper 19cm x 19cm. With pattern side down, fold in half. Turn and fold again (so you have 4 square sections)
2) Turn paper over so pattern is facing upwards. Fold one edge halfway to the middle, turn paper round and fold in the other side so that the edges meet in the middle. Repeat on the other 2 sides (so you have created 16 squares)
3) Lay the paper pattern side up. Fold the corners into the centre.
4) Turn paper back so plain side is up.
5) Fold the corners in half so you have 4 small triangles facing upwards on each other.
6) Push the sides in to make a square pocket.
7) Cut a piece of square card slightly smaller than 9.5cm
8) Slot inside the square pocket.

This card has been made by using a metal embossing template with white embossing paste. Afterwards glitter has been sprinkled over before it drys. Borders and greeting is silver peel offs. This was the second card made at my craft club and was Tina's idea.

This is the third card made at my club and was the idea of Natalie. Mine I afraid turned out a bit lopsided. Lol!!! The stamp was Natalie's so I am sorry I don't know which one it was.
Cut a piece of card
14cm x 28 cm
Score at 7cm
Score at 14cm
Mark at 21cm
Then mark 7cm up and cut from 7cm mark to mark with a craft knife. Fold along the score marks to produce this shaping of card.
For topper 9.4cm x 10.2 cm
Matting card 9.7cm x 10.5 cm

This last card is also an image off the download sheet from a dear friend. I have decoupaged the image. It is a 6 x 6 square card. The backing paper is from my stash. The sentiment has been computer generated.
Thank you so much for looking today and I hope the dismal weather isn't depressing any of you as I know that many of us get depressed in the Autumn/Winter dark days.
